Diane Hurst Art - Illustration and Design
Bio
Diane Hurst; is a graphic designer, creating digital artworks on the computer, and also an artist in watercolor, color pencil, and pen and ink.
She makes wall art, greeting cards, illustrations, and is studying surface pattern design. She enjoys making both abstract designs and representational art. Diane has also done video editing and website design, as well as creating posters, CD and DVD designs, and doing book layout. For many years Diane was a self-taught artist, until beginning college studies in midlife. She attended Clark College, pursuing a Fine Arts – Graphic Design degree and also a Web Graphic Design degree, graduating in 2019. Some of her artwork is whimsical. As a mother of nine children, Diane identifies well with the child's world of wonder and imagination. Besides making artwork in traditional media and on the computer, Diane also likes to take photos . . . almost any day you might find she is taking pictures -- in her neighborhood, and when out and about. Diane participated in MATS bootcamp in spring and summer 2016, and has been steadily creating more and more designs and illustrations for a variety of uses, over the past few years. A new project is to make designs for covers of writing journals. To see Diane's journals on Amazon, go to her pen name author link, Pacific Current. Diane is listed on Illustrators Ink (see link below): Diane Hurst -- Vancouver, WA professional illustrator on IllustratorsInk.com! Diane is also a songwriter and musician;
